Throw away children
This story is not for the weak of heart as it is true and very upsetting.
It seems that some people would rather throw away their children then
face the truth.
My Son met a girl she is only 16 through her family, after he got to know her,
she started talking to him a lot. She began to feel comfortable around him
and so decided to tell him her story.
It seems that her step father has been rapeing her from the time she was
8 years old, she did not want to go back home and told him she was going
to run away.
He kept talking to her and found out that she also had been raped by her
uncle at the age of 5 and that this man had the charges dropped and was
never brought to justice.
My Son was very upset, so he told her mother what was going on, and
she said, oh don't listen to her she is just a lier and that her husband
would never do something like that.
Well, this was unexceptable to my Son and he took the girl to another
police station, as the one where she lived would do nothing and kept
putting her back with her parents.
Well, finely someone listened to her, and went out and arrested the man,
she provided enough evidence to put him away.
This was very hard for her as she had been told he would hurt her if she
told anyone.
I talked to her and told her she needed to do this for her sake as well as
anyother child he may take up with after her. I told her to reley on my
Son for support and that he would help her as much as he could.
Please if you read this say a prayer for all the children who are in this
kind of situation that they might find the courage like this girl did to do
something about people who use children for their sexual desires.
Please do not throw the children away, if you hear someone say they
are being molested do not call them a lier, check it out, listen to them,
maybe they are just looking for attention like this mother thought,
well, if you listen to them you might just be able to see the truth
behind the attention seeking child.

Sexual abuse happens so often that it is hard to believe anybody would not believe a child who says it is happening to them. That child screwed up their courage and told somebody what was happening to them. If they are not believed by the person they tell, that is tragic.
How likely is it that they will tell somebody else?
